Jewbilee

TCI’s Jewbilee brings together Jewish students, friends, and allies from around the country for a weekend retreat. The theme for 2010 is Facing Global Challenges in Pursuit of a Better World. Throughout the weekend, students participate in interactive workshops allowing students to reflect on their individual and collective roles in pursuing a better world. 18 BLS Youth CAN students are presenting to a group of more than 100 students about their leadership on climate change and sustainability.

Fall festival with climate games, food, music, and a photo-booth. Get your picture taken with Mr. Flynn as a penguin or with a 7’ tall polar bear. See Youth CAN students install 350 trays of vegetation--a 350 action (aimed at reducing to a sustainable 350 ppm of carbon in the atmosphere). Welcome college students joining with Youth CAN to launch the Fenway Area Green Roof Student Coalition. Meet 14 other Youth CAN groups & community service organizations.
