In 2012/2013, BLS Youth CAN is focusing on water conservation awareness and social justice. Take a look at some of what we’re doing below.
We presented our designs to the headmaster as well as our proposal for the Elkay fountains. Success!
We made plans to purchase 4 new water fountains and bottle filling stations for our school and met with Geoff Hamilton from Elkay. Click above to see photos of our walkthrough.
Our theater department will be putting on a production of “A Cool Dip in the Barren Saharan Crick” as part of our water awareness campaign.
To launch our water awareness campaign, we screened the documentary Tapped.
