1. •During the month of October, BLS Youth CAN is competing in the NSTAR Foundation’s Environmental Sustainability Competition, called the “Do Something” competition.
   

To try and win the $1,000.00 prize, we have organized a massive recycling effort, created school several competitions within homerooms and among grade levels to increase participation, made short public service announcements to raise awareness about and promote the effort, and scheduled many educational events to help improve the commitment to sustainable living at BLS.  We encourage all BLS students, faculty, families, and friends to support us in this effort.
